Privacy Policy.
AEVEN™ processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). This policy explains what we collect, why, on which legal basis, and how long we keep it. Sections marked [pending legal review] will be finalised ahead of commercial launch.

Data we collect
Account and order data (name, email, shipping address, payment confirmation), site usage telemetry, and any information you voluntarily provide via the newsletter or contact form.
Purpose & legal basis
Contract performance (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR) for orders and subscriptions; legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR) for security, analytics and product improvement; consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR) for marketing communications and non-essential cookies.
Retention
Order and accounting data are retained for the periods required by German commercial and tax law (up to 10 years). Marketing data is deleted on withdrawal of consent.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object. You may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Hamburgischer Beauftragter für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
